Tupelo Honey’s BullStreet District Location Grand Opening Reception

WHAT:           Tupelo Honey is hosting a private event reception to celebrate its grand opening.

WHO:             Columbia Mayor Daniel Rickenmann, Columbia City Council, the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, Tupelo Honey owner and CEO Stephen Frabitore, and the director of Harvest Hope Food Bank, Jane Smith

WHEN:           Thursday, October 6, 2022 | 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. 
WHERE:         2142 Boyce St, Columbia, SC 29201

WHY:             The restaurant opened on the first day of fall 2022, Sept. 22. From the opening night of the restaurant through Oct. 5, 10 diners from the store will randomly receive a golden ticket allowing them and one guest to attend the party. The day after the party, Tupelo Honey will begin marketing its private dining service that will bring Tupelo Honey’s menu and service to your home or office. Its owner and CEO Stephen Frabitore will be on hand to host the grand opening and present the $10,000 donation to Harvest Hope Food Bank’s Columbia location. There will be 250 guests at the party. Tupelo Honey plans on opening five more locations in the next year. The goal is to expand westward since Tupelo Honey is primarily in the Southeast.

                        In addition, they will be developing a long-term partnership with Harvest Hope to donate surplus food to the food bank.
